When you decide to go solar with Shine, there is a series of steps that we follow to ensure that your system is designed, installed, and interconnected correctly. Our ultimate goal here at Shine Solar is to create the best customer experience for our customers. We wanted to take the liberty of giving you a walk-through of your 10-step process to going solar.
First and foremost, we create a Custom Solar Analysis for your home that takes into consideration your specific utility usage, the size of your home, your roof, and other factors to design a system that best fits your home’s needs. After this step, our Site Survey team surveys your home in order to check your breaker and attic. The surveyor will then fly a drone over your property to take aerial photos to make sure your solar design is perfect.
During the Design Review and Design & Engineering stages, our team makes any final changes and approves your final system design. Once the design is approved, we move to Finance Verification. This step allows our finance team to work closely with our lenders to ensure that financing is approved in order to make your system as affordable as possible.
Our permitting team then goes to work to acquire any necessary permits from your city in order to complete your solar project. We do all of the heavy lifting so you never have to lift a finger. We then schedule your system installation and install your system!
Once your Shine solar system is installed, the system is inspected to ensure that the system is correctly wired and that all requirements of the installation process were properly followed. FINALLY, we are able to interconnect your system and YOU start saving money!
